Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Arrow Truckers LLC, doing business as LaneTap LLC operates LaneTap, including its portal and browser extension. Contact our support team at support@getlanetap.com.
Information LaneTap handles
Account information includes your name, email address, company, role, access status and a hashed LaneTap password. We store personal email templates, mailbox provider and connection status, encrypted mailbox credentials or authorization tokens, session records, account activity, inquiry recipient addresses and sending/copy status records used to prevent duplicate sends.
On supported DAT One pages, the extension reads load and contact details displayed in the page to provide maps, copy controls, calculations and inquiries. For an inquiry, relevant details such as origin, destination, pickup, load reference and broker email are sent to LaneTap to prepare and send the message you request. Clipboard actions copy the selected load information to your device. LaneTap does not request access to your general browsing history.
Google account and Gmail access
With your authorization, LaneTap uses Google identity information to verify that the connected email matches your LaneTap account. The requested Google permissions are openid, email and gmail.send. An encrypted refresh token allows LaneTap to maintain the mailbox connection and obtain temporary access tokens for your sending requests. Your Google password is entered with Google, not in LaneTap.
LaneTap uses Gmail sending access to send load inquiries that you initiate. The row envelope action sends your active template immediately; the inquiry panel provides a preview before sending. Gmail handles delivery and its Sent-folder copy. LaneTap does not request Gmail inbox-reading permissions, fetch your inbox or use Google mail data to build advertising profiles.
LaneTap follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used for the disclosed mailbox features, not sold, used for advertising or used to train generalized AI models. Human access to Google user data is limited to your affirmative permission, necessary security investigation, legal obligations or other uses permitted by that policy.
Other mailboxes and maps
Supported SMTP connections use your email address and a mailbox or app password. These credentials are encrypted in storage. When available, IMAP is used to locate the Sent folder and append the outgoing message; LaneTap does not fetch inbox messages for this feature. Microsoft connections, when configured, use delegated authorization for identity, sending and continuing access.
Map features send route locations to Google Maps. Google and your email provider may process connection information, such as IP addresses and browser details, under their own policies. Opening external maps takes you to that provider.
Use and sharing
We use information to authenticate users, enforce company access, operate mailbox connections, send requested inquiries, provide maps and calculations, prevent duplicate sends, investigate errors and provide support. Your email provider processes the message and its recipient receives your inquiry and sender details. Hosting and database infrastructure are provided through Hostinger. Company administrators can manage their team accounts and access status, but the portal does not reveal stored mailbox credentials or other users' personal templates.
Information may be handled by service providers as needed to operate LaneTap, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to address security and abuse, subject to applicable restrictions on Google user data. LaneTap has no advertising or data-sale feature.
Storage, retention and removal
LaneTap uses HTTPS, hashed account passwords and encrypted mailbox secrets. The extension stores a session token in browser storage restricted to trusted extension contexts. Extension sessions expire after 30 days unless ended earlier; account suspension, password reset and sign-out can revoke access. Portal sessions use an HTTP-only cookie.
Account, template, audit and sending records remain stored while needed to operate the account, support delivery checks and prevent duplicate sends. The current service does not apply a single automatic deletion period to all of these records. Hosting backups can retain earlier copies under the hosting retention schedule.
To remove a saved mailbox connection, choose My mailbox → Disconnect my mailbox. This removes its credentials and pending connection states from the active database. You can also revoke LaneTap access in your Google or Microsoft account. Disconnecting does not recall sent mail or delete account, audit or sending records. Uninstalling the extension does not delete your portal account.
Request account or personal-data deletion, access or correction by emailing support@getlanetap.com. We verify the requester's identity and address applicable legal and security requirements. Some security, legal or delivery records may need to be retained; backup copies may remain until their normal expiry. Provider-held messages are controlled through that provider.
Service audience and changes
LaneTap is intended for business dispatch use, not for children. We update this page when practices change. If a new use of Google data requires consent, we will request it before using that data for the new purpose. Contact our support team at support@getlanetap.com with privacy questions.
